Brain Injury and Cannabis -- A World Class Athlete Perspective
Session Time: 11:00am to 12:00pm
We’re bringing together athletes who have competed internationally in their chosen sports to share their perspective on traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and cannabis. TBIs are usually caused by a violent blow to the head, which can happen when your job is to compete in the ring or dominate on the football field. A recent study has put numbers to how cannabis helps people recover from head injuries — on this panel you’ll hear right from athletes who have seen the effects for themselves.
Craft Cannabis Markets: From The Front Lines
Session Time: 12:15pm to 1:15pm
Farmers and distributors from across California will explore in this panel what the craft market is like for cannabis in the emerging regulated market. What will sell where? How will it get there? What will really change for farmers and consumers after January 1, 2018? Our panelists will share their experiences and their perspective as cannabis regulation enters a new era.
