Past Winners discuss what’s changed, what they are working on and what they are excited to show you
This year’s event is very different — Not only for us, but for the industry. We are, of course, broadcasting a live stream of the Speaker Sessions so anyone can tune in to learn about the important issues coming in 2018 for the industry. What we’re REALLY excited about is introducing a never-seen-before live stream from the Judge’s Hall! You’ll get to check out the beautiful Top 16 entries from the Fruit, Floral, Earth and Fuel categories, listen to interviews with growers, breeders, entrepreneurs and ALSO hear what the judges are thinking and experiencing as they sample the finest in Light Dep Cannabis.

On the Judge’s Feed, we will be speaking to past Golden Tarp Award winners to ask them what they’re working on, what’s changed for them since the last cup, and what they are excited to share with you, the viewing public. We want to introduce you to some of the people growing the cannabis that you’ll be consuming tomorrow.

Dookie Brothers win the 2016 Golden Tarp Award for their Zkittlez entry
Last couple years, Zkittlez took CA by storm and was made famous by NorCal breeders and growers, and from there it launched into the rest of California. Some of the top, funkiest, fuel-y kushes come from Humboldt County and Mendocino. Genetics of old and new that people come to demand — these are typically from breeders like the ones in the hills of NorCal, Oregon, Washington and even British Columbia’s Kootney and Vancouver Island regions. Supporting the small farmer is supporting diversity of cannabis strains and entrepreneurs.
Diamonds aren’t discovered at Tiffany’s all polished up and in blue little boxes….they are dug up from the rough. Your next favorite strain of cannabis might very well come from the people you meet on The Golden Tarp Award’s live feed November 18th. Make sure to tune in!!
